Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon Paul Johnson graduated in Dentistry with honours at the University of Leeds and subsequently in Medicine at the University of Cambridge. He completed his higher specialist training at Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead And Kings College Hospital, London.
Paul has worked since 1992 as a consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford. His wide ranging interests include facial plastic surgery, orthognathic surgery and dental implantology. He has been awarded the 2018 Down Surgical Prize by the British Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. This is the highest honour that the Association can bestow on a surgeon and is made ‘In recognition of the significant contribution made to the speciality of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.’
He is a founder member and director of Surrey Implant Services, based at the Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital, and has over 25 years dental implant experience.
